1994-1999 Domicil Danmark A/S, S�rvad, Denmark (Furniture Manufacturers)
Domicil Danmark A/S, established in March 1993, produces an exclusive program of furniture in their own designs - from sofas to kitchens. These products are sold to Domicil GmbH, who, with their 31 elegant furniture stores, covers the whole of Germany (http://www.domicil.de). Domicil Danmark employs appr. 60 people at production facilities of 5800 m2. All products are made at a very high quality standard, with individual solutions to the demanding customer and a high level of service.

I joined the Company in April 1994 to build up a new production of upholstered
furniture from scratch.

Areas of responsibility and achievements: Establishing the production of upholstered furniture; buying; production planning; budgeting and budget follow-up; establishing Concorde XAL-online production in the Wood Dept., co-ordinating the transport logistics of the Company; salary negotiations; establishing a new salary-system based on qualification and results; product development and sourcing; product pricing and calculations; member of the management team, reporting to the Board.
Other: Taking upholstery production from 0 to � 1,5m..
Increasing own carpentry production by 25 %.

I left the Company 9.4.1999 due to differences of opinion with the Chairman of the Board.


1984-1986 Suomen Trikoo Oy Ab (Fabric and Garment manufacturers), Tampere (http://www.suomentrikoo.fi - in Finnish) and Copenhagen. 1989-1994 1984-1986 Export Manager Oy Tricol Ab, Karis, Finland
Areas of responsibility: sales of fabrics in the export markets through agents in Scandinavia, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Holland and USA. Direct sales in Scandinavia of Lycra products from Tricol and Textilprint (Italy), (both pioneer activities).
Achievements: establishing Denmark and USA as new active markets and re-establishing Norway. Bringing the Lycra ranges to the World market.

1989 Marketing Consultant - trademark Keifer in Norway (Baliz Ab, Gothenburg)
Areas of responsibility: sales of Keifer-products (tights and socks) in Norway direct to old and new customers. Achievement: increasing the sales in less than a year by
over 100 %.

1990 Marketing Co-ordinator - Hosiery Division, Tampere (member of the management team)
Areas of responsibility: the planning of marketing strategies for the Hosiery Division in the Nordic countries and other European markets; internal strategic training of all marketing units in in the Hosiery Division, turnover � 40 m. in 1990. The following Companies were trained: Finland: Norlyn Oy, Elli Oy, Suomen Sukka Oy, Sweden: Baliz Ab, Vogue Ab og Triconor Ab, Norway: Nyg�rd A/S and Denmark: Vogue Ab.

Areas of responsibility: Sales in Finland to the garment, automotive and furniture industries of the following Courtaulds fabric collections: Furzebrook, Courtauld Prints, Moygashel og Derby Nyla. As an agent establishing of the Finnish daughter Company
for Bieze, Stork B.V., Holland (sewing threads).
In 1982 Courtaulds finished Furzebrook and I sold my agency in 1983.

Areas of responsibility: Sales in Finland and export together with product development in menswear- and jeans-collections (ladies). Export markets: Scandinavia, Holland,
UK , USA and Germany.


1967-1974 Sales Manager; Export Manager; F. E. Jennings & Co. Ltd., London (Menswear Distributors); Kruunupukine Oy, �bo (Menswear Manufacturers)
Areas of responsibility: Sales Manager: direct sales to house accounts and contact with
agents in the UK, USA, South America and South Africa.
Export Manager: contact with Francis E. Jenning & Co. and sales to other European markets with agents. I moved to the factory in Finland at the end of 1971 to secure and develop the UK and US sales and services as well as to increase the sales in the Scandinavian market.
